This fish swam—er, flew, technically—all the way to France for an exhibit in 2020. Two other paintings went, too: the Pineapple Octopus and the Swift Jelly. They were selected for the 2020 Les Décades de la Peinture exhibit in Brioude, France. They had French pastries, sipped champagne, and hung out with the international crowd—all while the artist, Aria Luna, had to stay home in California because of COVID.
In case you're wondering, all three marine creatures made it home safely. And this Amazonian catfish now wants to swim home to you.
A portion of the proceeds supports marine conservation and ocean cleanup.
